We gather Sundays at 5:00pm. This is not a traditional time for most churches, but it seems to fit the rhythms of modern day life well for active people and families with young children. We seek to be encouraged and transformed by a God who has chosen to communicate with us. We worship together through music, teaching, prayer, and mutual encouragement.
Sundays @ 5pm
Where do you meet?
We meet a 721 Trancas St, between Soscol Ave and Queen of the Valley Hospital. The sign out front will identify Arbor Alliance Church location, but you won’t know the church until you know the people here who love to trust Jesus with the challenges and joys of life.
What should I expect?
Worship services are typically from 5pm until 6:15pm. The climate is one of anticipation and worship but with an informal feel. Our priority is to focus on Jesus as a group and expect to respond as God the Holy Spirit prompts us.
The Bible is a treasure. We often teach through a book of the Bible, but our teaching is also responsive to seasons of celebration and World Mission themes.
How about children?
We parents always have the option of children’s church and a preschool ministry. Each of these settings are a bible-centered and joyful place for our kids.
Older youth participate in the multi-generational worship.
Is there something for youth on Sundays?
We believe that teenagers are an important, integral part of the body of Christ and we value their participation in the worship service. Therefore, we have intentionally not structured any program that would isolate them from the rest of the body on Sundays. We want to develop a youth worship band as part of the leadership rotation.
